As any other thing in the world, the nCoV-19 or Covid-19 pandemy turns out to have its own good and evil deeds.

While it sure has killed thousand of people, slam the economy, closes thouaands of companies, and sends millions of workers home; the Covid-19 outbreak undeniably brings some positive outcome, too.

FREE APPS AND SOFTWARE

  1. Headspace — The popular meditation and relaxation app released a free “weathering the storm” program and is offering Headspace Plus for free to healthcare professionals.
  2. AnyMeeting — Intermedia’s video conferencing and webinar service is free for all businesses until the end of the year to support remote workers.
  3. Cisco Webex — Cisco’s premier business conferencing software is expanding its free plan for all businesses for the next 90 days.
  4. Discord — The popular game-themed chat software service is expanding its Go Live streaming and screen share limit from 10 to 50 people for the next few months.
  5. Final Cut Pro X – Apple has expanded the free trial period for its professional video editing software from 30 days to 90 days.
  6. Fitbit — The fitness wearable company is offering new users 90 days of Fitbit Premium for free. It normally costs $9.99 a month.
  7. Google Hangouts Meet — G Suite users can now access premium Google Hangout Meet features, including larger audiences and the ability to save streams, until July 1.
  8. Microsoft Teams — Microsoft is offering free access to the paid tier of its business messaging app and software for six months. It normally costs $5 a month.
  9. Nikon School – From now until April 30, Nikon is offering its online photography classes for free. Each class is normally priced at between $10 to $50.
  10. Reaper — This digital audio workstation software normally costs as much as $225 to license. However, the developer is offering a free license for all until June 30.
  11. Peloton — Looking for ways to stay in shape while stuck at home? Peloton is offering access to its boutique home fitness programs for 90 days.
  12. Tinder Passport — Passport is a paid Tinder feature that lets you connect with other singles across the world instead of just your local area. It’s available for free until April 30.

TEMPORARILY FREE GAMES

Games are one of the best ways to pass the time while stuck at home, and a bunch of developers have made their games temporarily free during the COVID-19 outbreak. Here are our favorites:
